XSec 2026: THE DEEP TRACE is an international, online cyber mystery hunt from XSec Solutions: a connected trail of 10 increasingly difficult stages combining cryptography, OSINT, steganography, digital forensics, web investigation, programming, logic, riddles, and hidden clues. It's not a traditional CTF. Discoveries from earlier stages matter later on, so it's built to feel like one continuous investigation.

No. There's no registration form or sign-up for this event. Just follow XSec Solutions' official channels and start when the first clue is released.
Anyone, from anywhere in the world. No professional cybersecurity experience is required. The trail is designed to be accessible at the start and progressively more difficult as it goes on.
Either way, you can work through THE DEEP TRACE solo or gather a team and solve it together. It's built to work both ways.
No. Like every other XSec Solutions event, THE DEEP TRACE is free to participate in.
Yes. Participants who successfully complete an individual stage are eligible for a certificate for that stage. You don't need to finish all 10 to be recognized for the ones you do.
